**Job summary**:
Jewellery retail sales is a dynamic and exciting field where you get to combine product knowledge, customer service, and salesmanship. Here's a breakdown of what it entails:
**What you'll do**:

- **Showcasing and Selling**: You'll be the face of the jewelry store, greeting customers, understanding their needs and preferences, and showcasing the perfect pieces from the collection.
- **Product Knowledge**: Being well-versed in the types of jewellery, materials (gold, silver, diamonds, gemstones etc.), styles (classic, modern, bohemian etc.), and price points is crucial.
- **Customer Service**: Building rapport with customers, patiently answering their questions, and providing guidance on jewellery care and maintenance are all part of the package.
- **Sales Techniques**: Upselling and cross-selling complementary jewellery pieces or services can significantly boost sales. This requires understanding customer needs and effectively suggesting additional items.
- **Meeting Targets**: Most retail sales roles have sales targets to achieve, so you'll be motivated to close deals and contribute to the store's success.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales and/or marketing, preferably in the jewelry industry.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a retail environment.
- Strong understanding of current jewelry trends and styles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Exceptional presentation skills and ability to showcase products effectively.
- Creative and strategic thinking with a passion for marketing.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and marketing tools (a plus).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
