The post holder will be part of DevOps team supporting Opsview IMPSS plugin code development work and reporting. The post holder will act as technical member supporting new and existing products that come under the responsibility of the team.

**What you’ll be doing**
Writing Test Module's using Python for Opsview Monitoring platform which includes health check, disk usage of different types of devices like Cisco Appliances, checkpoint Appliances, Juniper Appliances etc.
Identify opportunities for automation and work closely with Platform Ops team for reducing manual effort
To ensure that source code for software produced is of an acceptable quality, both in terms of requirements and scalability
Provide assistance and training to technical support staff within Delivery/Ops team to improve diagnostic skills and thereby reduce unwarranted fault tickets.
To support in Business development and defining future strategy
Development of Management/Monitoring tool - Opsview for Reporting
Performing Enterprise Systems Monitoring (ESM) and implementing popular monitoring enterprise suites such as OpsView
Bug fixing and addition of new feature's to existing infrastructure tools
To Support SLA's in relation to Incident and Problem Management, Service / Network Change Management, Firewall Management and proactive and reactive reporting while doing development
Understanding on DevOps CI/CD Pipeline for development.
Understanding on Jenkins / Puppet / ANSIble Tools.
Undertsnading on GitHubs for Version Controlling.

Qualifications:

- Typically qualified to degree level, or equivalent professional experience and/or with recognised qualifications.
Skills and Experience:

Skills & Experience
3-8 years of experience in Python Scripting and Programming Language along with DevOps Skill sets
Experience on Network Protocol testing and any Security Management tool Development
Awareness of Incident/Problem/Change Management
Stakeholder management, Risk Management & Problem solving
Effective Communication, including verbal, report writing & presentations skills
- Technical Skills
Scripting: Python Scripting (mandatory)
Database: - MySQL, Oracle.
Revision Control System:

- GIT, GITHUBS /GitLab, BitBucket
Tools: - CI/ CD Pipeline / Puppet / ANSIble / Kafka Elastic Search / Kibana, Jenkins
Operating System-Unix-REDHAT /Linux
Cloud:

- AWS/ Azure
Network environment-Virtualization
