**THE PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE**

Overall management of the work in the management team with a focus on the management, development and support of the organisation projects with the aim of implementing our vision of reaching communities effectively.
- Coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment and information.
- Liaising with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives.
- Ensuring that clients’ needs are met as the project evolves.

**THE VALUE YOU DELIVER**

We are looking for a responsible Project Coordinator to administer and organize all types of projects, from simple activities to more complex plans. The work will involve working both in urban and rural communities.

Project Coordinator responsibilities include working closely with the Executive Director to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes and budgets for projects. You will perform various coordinating tasks, like schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation and handling financial queries. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you’ll collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines.

Ultimately, the Project Coordinator’s duties are to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high quality standards.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information.
- Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes.
- Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives.
- Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.
- Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve.
- Must be willing to travel within and outside the city.
- Help prepare budgets.
- Analyse risks and opportunities.
- Oversee project procurement management.
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
- Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures.
- Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g. contracts and terms of agreement).
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
- Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.
- Being able to work under pressure, and work long hours to meet deadlines.
- Being able to actively fundraise for the existing and future projects.
- Visiting Churches and other organisations to present about the organisation and the work they are involved in.

**REQUIREMENTS**

Knowledge in:

- Mission work and Theology.
- Able to lead a team.
- Leadership and Management skills.
- Process Development.
- Ability to speak English and basic Kannada knowledge.

**THE SKILLS THAT ARE KEY TO THIS ROLE**
- Working Independent.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to teach.
- Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role.
- Experience in project management, from conception to delivery.
- Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
- Strong client-facing and teamwork skills.

**QUALIFICATION**:

- Bachelors in any stream.
- Preferably Bachelors/Masters in Theology.
- Masters in Social Work degree is a plus.
