Job Description
**The Role**
The purpose of this role is to support the Tax, Pensions & Employment (TPE) practice, through providing administrative support to the delivery and project management of client focus, business development, sales support, and marketing initiatives and specific activities related to wider C&MD function projects.
In this role you will work together with the local and global BD & Marketing teams, partners, lawyers and other stakeholders, to facilitate the flow of information and assist with the delivery of top-quality BD and marketing materials, provide organisational support on a range of initiatives and work with BD & Marketing infrastructure systems.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Client focus and business development**
- Providing general client research/intelligence on request
- Assisting with running financial reports for key clients, sectors and practices
- Working with secretaries to create bespoke client mailing lists, providing training to secretaries and fee earners on InterAction as required
**Marketing Communications**
- Assisting with the production and delivery of internal marketing communications e.g., newsletters, intranet updates, etc.
- Supporting the TPE BD team in developing marketing materials such as brochures and contact cards (internal and external)
- Assisting with the coordination and production of directory submissions and awards
**Events Planning**
- Assisting with all aspects of event planning, including webinars and training organised across the TPE practice
**Client Development management activities**
- Collating and maintaining information for relevant key TPE client targets
- Arranging and preparing for internal practice and TPE initiative focused BD meetings, taking notes and following up on actions
- Working with the Commercial Analysis Team to respond to adhoc financial information-related reporting requests
- Working with the Commercial Analysis Team to compile data in relation to significant TPE matters which are closing (across the network), in order to create a pipeline of TPE focused matter reviews
**C&MD function projects**
- Supporting TPE in setting up and maintaining matter capture as it is incorporated into global processes for the first time
- Supporting the process of transferring historical matter information (leveraging directory submissions) into matter capture format
- Working with fee earners to ensure matter capture forms are properly populated for all new matters
- Supporting the TPE CMD team in the regular audit of capability statement to ensure all materials are kept current
**General**
- Providing day-to-day support to the practice as required
**Qualifications**:
**Your experience**
- 4-5 years of experience in professional services or large corporate environment, with previous legal marketing experience and advantage
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with demonstrated service orientation
- Analytical thought and problem-solving skills
- Excellent project management, organisational and planning skills with ability to prioritise multiple tasks and projects and meet deadlines
- High level of maturity and confidence necessary to interact with firm lawyers
- Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM database programmes (in particular InterAction)
- High level of attention to detail and meticulous follow-through
- Team player who is also self-motivated and can work independently with mínimal supervision
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be adaptable to change and have the flexibility to adjust work schedule according to workload demands or planned events
