**About the role**:
Agastya International Foundation is looking for a young and dynamic tech savvy individual to join its communications team. The role entails handling day-to-day internal and external communications, working closely with program and field teams to spread the word about Agastya’s impact and create avenues for fundraising. The individual will also work on creating and executing communication strategies.

- The individual needs to be creative, proactive and goal-oriented.
- Should be able to work under tight deadlines and deliver on expectations of multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Digital media** : Creating engaging content on Agastya’s social media channels, newsletters and other digital assets with regular updates.
- **Creating multimedia content**: Design collateral like videos, posters, case studies and other communication material for the organization.
- **Campaigns** _: _Developing and executing campaigns for our programs to raise funds and build awareness - using digital media and other crowdfunding and giving platforms.
- **Content calendar**: Contributing to the organization’s editorial calendar, guiding publication & dissemination timelines. Develop tailored dissemination plans for different research outputs and deliverables. Evaluate and revise materials to ensure quality and high-level messaging.
- **Social media data analytics**: Constantly analysing the reach and other data from social media platforms and tailor content to improve engagement based on it.
- **Media engagement** _: _Identifying opportunities for press and media engagement, developing pitches and relationships with reporters to improve Agastya’s visibility.
- **Collaborations** : Collaborating with the communications teams of other social sector and corporate organisations to cross promote and enhance the reach in a manner that is mutually beneficial.

Skills required:

- Strong communication skills
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a good grasp on the English language.
- Thorough knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn. Should be able to analyse data from the platforms and draw appropriate conclusions.
- Visual communication and design skills (Should be able to use platforms like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Canva).
- Photography and videography skills.
- Video scripting and editing (Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro)

Who is eligible to apply:

- Media and communications graduates with an experience of 2-4 years in a communications role
- Freshers with strong portfolios will be considered
- Individuals with an interest in the social sector.

Application process:

- Shortlisted individuals will have to go through an interview and an assignment in the subsequent rounds.

Salary
- The salary range is between 3.4 - 4 LPA and will be commensurate with experience.

Cultivate and develop relationships with the existing institutional donors - foundations and CSR
partners - to ensure renewal of grants, and strengthening and deepening of existing
relationships.
- Conduct research on and identify suitable potential new funding opportunities and partners in
India (institutional, corporate CSR, etc.) and secure new institutional funding partnerships.
- Network and build relationships with existing and potential new donors
- develop budgets for funding proposals.
- Developing MOU, Preparing of plan work orders, manage and oversee the programs
- Ensure timely, accurate and high quality reporting to existing donors
- Collaborate with Research, Impact and Communications team on evaluation of programmes
and their impact, and ensure these take into consideration donors’ needs and expectations, as
relevant.
