Freelance Online Tutors

**Job Purpose**
Nagwa is excited to announce a series of online tutor-led courses in India for students in classes 9-12 preparing for their board exams in maths and sciences. Each of our 60 session courses will run from the start of April 2024, with two 1.5 hour online live after-school teaching sessions per week during school term times. We are now hiring outstanding freelance online tutors with proven previous experience with large tutoring organisations in India. Tutors must be able to commit to teaching the entire 60 session course.
**Responsibilities**
- Conducting online interactive sessions for students through our Nagwa Classes for Educators app.
- Presenting Nagwa lesson materials in a clear and memorable way.
- Running engaging activities to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Guiding students through a series of examples and dealing with their questions.
**Job Qualifications**
- Tutors are needed for mathematics and science in classes 9 and 10, and for mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology in classes 11 and 12.
- Mandatory - a relevant Bachelor’s degree or higher, and over two years proven teaching or tutoring experience.
- Mandatory - previous experience tutoring class 9-12 students online for large tutoring companies in India.
**Job Competencies**
- Effective verbal and written presentation skills, with clear handwriting.
- Excellent time management.
- Accountability and task ownership.
- Attention to detail.
**Compensation**
- The compensation is ₹ 800 (INR) per one and a half hour session delivered, billable on a monthly basis. This covers session preparation and delivery using the materials that we provide.
