**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sales Strategy and Planning**:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Create and execute sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
**Client Relationship Management**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Conduct regular client meetings and follow up on sales leads to close deals.
**Business Development**:
- Identify and pursue new charter sales opportunities.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the company's services.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
**Sales Performance and Reporting**:
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
- Use CRM software to manage customer information and track sales activities.
**Team Leadership and Collaboration**:
- Mentor and support junior sales team members.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
- Participate in cross-functional team projects to drive business growth.
**Qualifications**:
**Education and Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the charter or transportation industry. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
**Skills and Competencies**:
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
**Travel Requirements**:
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and other business-related activities.
**Work Environment**:
- Office-based with occasional travel.
