We are a non-profit organisation founded in 1998 with a team of 3 persons in the Bangalore office. We work in partnership with local NGOs on development projects in South India and in West Bengal. Together, we pool our resources and know-how to work with the most vulnerable populations in urban and rural areas.

We have chosen three areas of intervention**:children and education**, **rural development** and women **empowerment**.

Our office is located in Bangalore, India, to enable close collaboration with partners and to promote quality projects.

**Main projects supported by us and areas of intervention**:

- **Empowerment of women**: creation of Self-Help Groups (groups of women who join together to set up their own economic activity), and providing access to micro-credits.
- **Education**: creation and support of schools for children from disadvantaged families: homes for street children, classes for disabled children, schools in tribal and rural areas.
- **Rural development**: rehabilitation of reservoirs, improvement of irrigation systems, training and implementation of new organic farming techniques, WASH activities.

You will assist the team in our Bangalore office in the development and monitoring of projects in consultation with project directors:

- **Project management and coordination**:drafting of project proposals, budget preparation, project monitoring, drafting of project reports and financial activity reports, regular contacts and coordination with local and international partners.
- **Fund-raising**:Follow-up and coordination of relations with donors, search for new funding for projects and development of communication tools related to fund-raising;
- **Communication and marketing**:helping to develop a communication plan; updating the various communication tools and developing new content for media; helping to update the website;
**Languages**
- Fluent oral and written English required
- Ability to speak in Kannada / Tamil
- Training / Experience in project management / Social Work / NGO sector
- Skills in project cycle management
- Mastery of computer tools (MS Office) essential, especially Excel
- Mastery of Internet communication tools (social networks)
- Experience in sales, relationship marketing or fundraising
- Independent, ability to make proposals and excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Thoroughness, with planning and organisation skills
- Ability to work with different stakeholders across India and in Europe

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
