Job Title: Purchase Officer
- Reports to: Procurement Manager
- Job Purpose: The Purchase Officer will be responsible for managing the procurement of goods and
- services for the organization. The position involves identifying potential suppliers, negotiating
- contracts, and ensuring that goods are delivered in a timely manner and at the right price.

Key Responsibilities:

- Procurement Planning:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies in line with the organization's needs.
- Forecast procurement needs based on inventory levels and demand.
- Identify potential suppliers and build relationships with them.

Purchasing:

- Conduct price and product comparisons to ensure the organization is getting the best value for
- money.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers.
- Purchase goods and services in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Ensure all purchases are authorized and properly documented.

Inventory Management:

- Monitor inventory levels to ensure that there is sufficient stock of goods.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure that goods are received and stored correctly.
- Manage the organization's inventory database to track goods and their location.

Supplier Management:

- Manage relationships with suppliers and monitor their performance.
- Conduct regular supplier evaluations to ensure they meet the organization's standards.
- Handle any issues or disputes that arise with suppliers.
- Reporting:

- Prepare procurement reports for management.
- Provide regular updates on procurement activities to stakeholders.
- Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and techniques.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
