Surpluss is a global B2B liquidation platform for buying and selling excess inventory, stock lots, near-expiry products, cancelled orders, out-of-demand products and slow-moving stock.
We are a one-stop platform that helps companies effectively liquidate their surplus inventory. Our mission is to assist businesses in overcoming inventory challenges by connecting them with potential buyers and facilitating the sale, assisting companies to recover costs and increase their bottom line.
We are Antler Backed start-up headquartered in Singapore.
We are expanding our operations in India and are seeking a motivated HR Coordinator to proactively engage with importers and drive sales growth in the Indian market.
**Position Overview**:
As a Procurement Online Coordinator, you will be a crucial part of our expansion in the Indian market. Your primary responsibility will be to leverage social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook to Connect with potential partners, distributors, and sellers. You will play a key role in building company tie-ups and creating a list of distributors and sellers to enhance our procurement process.
**Responsibilities**:
- Utilize LinkedIn and Facebook to proactively engage with potential partners,
distributors, and sellers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to establish company tie-ups for strategic procurement.
- Research and identify potential distributors and sellers in the Indian market to expand our network.
- Prepare a comprehensive list of distributors and sellers, categorizing them based on relevance and potential collaboration opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to understand their procurement requirements and align with potential partners accordingly.
- Act as a liaison between the company and potential partners, maintaining effective communication and addressing inquiries promptly.
- Provide regular updates on progress and opportunities to the management team.
- Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities to make informed decisions in the procurement process.
- Leverage social media analytics to track the performance of procurement initiatives and optimize strategies
**Required Skills**:
- Proven experience in online procurement and business development, preferably in the B2B sector.
- Proficiency in using LinkedIn and Facebook for professional networking and business purposes.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to establish successful partnerships.
- Excellent research and analytical abilities to identify potential distributors and sellers.
- Result-oriented and self-motivated, with a track record of driving successful procurement initiatives.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools (preferred but not mandatory).
