**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
As a V&V designer, he/she needs to perform the following:
- Test and prove the SW modules as per their SIL levels
- Applies SW processes & standards required for SW testing - CMMI
- Contribute to the elaboration of SW specification & architecture, in collaboration with the SW architect
- Realizes testing of SW modules:
- Resolve testing issues
- Prepares test cases and performs SW V&V deliverables depending on Safety Integrity Level and associated Product development organization.
- Puts the files under configuration management
- Keeps a strong link with the SW architect, through the whole SW design cycle
- Highlight design issues and propose / discuss with the lead engineer to identify and implement the definitive solution.
- SW module Integration and functional testing
- Guide the newcomers during development to achieve the QCD
- Support Lead engineer to perform peer reviews
**Qualifications & Skills**:
**EDUCATION**:
Bachelor/Post Graduate in Engineering - IT, CS, ECE & EEE or Equivalent
**BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES**:
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and able to guide, influence and convince others in a matrix organization
- Outstanding Technical leader with proven track record in managing multi software programs towards successful delivery.
- Be Innovative and demonstrate to peers and implement in creation of Reference Libraries, reusable codes, and model based developments
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and able to guide, influence and convince others in a matrix organization.
- Team Player with prior experience in working with European customer is not mandatory but preferable.
**TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE 6**+ years of experience in Software Product Functional Testing
- Very good understanding of the complete V&V process
- Good understanding of different software methodologies like waterfall, Agile etc.
- Hands on experience of automation testing with knowledge of any scripting language like python.
- Very good experience in product testing.
- Experience in Creation of Release Notes, Test plan, Test description, Test report, Traceability Matrix
