**Overall Purpose Of The Role**

As a cyber V&V Designer, you will Verify, validate and Support Cybersecurity Platform (CSP) for international railway projects(real or simulated).

You will interface with System, project, and Quality teams to meet QCD commitments.

**Responsibilities**

The Cybersecurity platform (CSP) is a hub of centralized security functions and services, running in a virtualized environment, for railway transportation systems.

We need an experienced IT Engineer who can work in the R&D Program, to do verification and validation of the IT modules of the CSP, and also to provide the support to the customers after the delivery

The following activities will be a part of the job responsibilities.
- Perform the verification and validaiton of the IT modules in the CSP platform, as per defined roadmap
- Adapt and Validate the IT modules within the CSP platform to the requirements of project stakeholders (project-specific constraints, defects, enhancements)
- Document Integration tests, functional tests, module tests, and standard operating procedures.
- Interface with users of IT services on projects to ensure compliance to needs.
- Support penetration testing campaigns for activities which involve the CSP.
- Review test and validation procedures for developed modules by other engineers.
- Prepare and participate in RTM (Requirement Tracebility Matrix) generation and review
- Contribute to the training of project stakeholders towards implementation.
- Provide support to projects in case of issues in configuration, build and deployment of relevant modules.
- Perform Change and Impact Analysis when there is new build is provided and provide the estimations for V&V

- Verification and Validation of IT services/modules of the CSP within defined Quality, Cost and Delays.
- Support to internal customers and Alstom project stakeholders (across geographic locations worldwide)

**Qualifications & Skills**

**Education**

Bachelor/Post Graduate in Engineering or Equivalent

**Technical Competencies & Experience**
- Technical Background with 3+ years of experience in IT implementation and deployment role.
- Previous hands-on experience in an IT/OT environment with implementation and deployment of at least 3 modules given below
- Windows (server standard / server core / desktop), hardware for high availability, OS management
- Linux (RedHat) Setup / Update / Admin / package mgt
- BIOS / UEFI
- Active Directory (group policies, domain controllers, GPOs for Hardening / configuring Windows domain, etc.)
- Patch Management Solutions (WSUS)
- VMWare & vCloud (target running environments)
- Backup and Restore solutions
- Syslog Solutions
- Elasticsearch Logstash Kibana (ELK)
- Radius
- McAfee / Trellix ePO(console / AV / Whitelisting)
- Experience in virtualization concepts and technologies (e.g VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, etc)
- Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell / Python )
- Experience in Requirement mgt (DOORS), Configuration mgt (Clear Quest), GIT (for internal change mgt)
- Strong documentation (written) and presentation (verbal) skills
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders (across geographic locations worldwide)
- Dynamic, autonomous. Creativity and ability to work in a complex environment.
