Counselling Psychologist

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Counseling Sessions**: Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients to address a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and relationship issues.
- **Assessment and Diagnosis**: Conduct psychological assessments, interviews, and evaluations to diagnose mental health disorders and develop personalized treatment plans.
- **Therapeutic Interventions**: Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
- **Crisis Intervention**: Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute mental health crises or emergencies.
- **Client Advocacy**: Advocate for clients' needs and rights, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, social services, and community resources to ensure comprehensive support and care.
- **Psychoeducation**: Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, coping strategies, self-care techniques, and available resources.
- **Documentation and Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting assessment findings, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- **Professional Development**: Stay updated on the latest research, best practices, and developments in the field of psychology and counseling through ongoing professional development activities, training, and workshops.
- **Ethical Standards**: Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards of conduct set forth by relevant licensing boards and professional associations (e.g., APA, ACA).
- **Supervision and Consultation**: Seek supervision and consultation from senior psychologists or supervisors as needed, especially for complex cases or ethical dilemmas.

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
