Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Executive to join our team in the fast-paced world of freight forwarding. As a Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, developing new business opportunities, and nurturing client relationships within the logistics and transportation industry. Your focus will be on understanding client needs, offering tailored solutions, and contributing to the expansion of our market presence.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Business Development:

- Identify and target potential clients through research, networking, and market analysis.
- Generate leads and proactively reach out to prospects to introduce our freight forwarding services.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients, ensuring a consistent flow of opportunities.

2. Client Relationship Management:

- Establish and cultivate relationships with existing clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
- Understand clients' logístical requirements and challenges, and propose customized solutions to meet their needs.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining client satisfaction.

3. Sales Presentations and Negotiations:

- Deliver compelling sales presentations that highlight the benefits and value of our freight forwarding services.
- Collaborate with the operations team to create accurate and competitive quotes for clients.
- Skillfully negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts while adhering to company guidelines.

4. Market Research and Analysis:

- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitors' offerings.
- Identify potential areas for growth and market expansion, contributing to strategic decision-making.

5. Sales Reporting and Documentation:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Generate regular sales reports and forecasts to track progress and inform management.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and marketing, to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven track record in sales, preferably within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of international shipping, supply chain, and logistics concepts.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed.
