EDITORIAL COORDINATOR FOR A PUBLISHING HOUSE

We are looking for an editorial coordinator with some experience in book publishing. The role requires meticulous coordination between the senior management, freelance editors and proof readers, typesetters and printers.

Your job will include the following duties:
1. Maintaining a database of books in production and also in the sales pipeline and to update the status daily

2. Assigning work to freelance and in-house proof readers/editors

3. Ensuring proofed manuscripts are sent for typesetting

4. Checking that the errors marked have been correctly executed by the typesetters

5. Provide editorial fact-checking and research support, as needed.

6. Must know Word and Excel

7. Ideally know InDesign, graphics.

We're looking for a self-starter, who is comfortable juggling multiple duties while not losing sight of the details. We're also looking for someone who shows initiative, especially when they see processes that can be streamlined or improved. They specialise in publishing of world-renowned Classics in various formats, and children and activity based books. They have a distribution channel pan-india as well as export their publications to international markets globally.

**Salary**: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
