Job Description: Structural Designer & Cost Estimator

Position Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
1. Structural Design: Design and develop structural plans, blueprints, and specifications for various construction projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and standards.

2. Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and other relevant factors.

3. Material Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate construction materials based on cost, durability, and structural requirements.

4. Structural Analysis: Conduct thorough structural analyses using software tools and manual calculations to ensure the integrity and safety of the designs.

5. Collaboration: Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and integration of structural designs within overall project requirements.

6. Budget Management: Assist in managing project budgets by monitoring costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and providing recommendations to optimize resource allocation.

7. Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports, drawings, and specifications to document design calculations, cost breakdowns, and project progress.

8. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

9. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in structural design and cost estimation, and implement improvements accordingly.

**Requirements**:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

2. Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design and cost estimation within the construction industry.

3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SAP2000, ETABS) and cost estimation tools. Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

4. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex structural problems, conduct accurate cost estimations, and provide effective solutions.

5. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders, and present technical information in a clear and concise manner.

6. Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in design calculations, cost estimates, and project documentation.

7. Team Player: Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals to achieve project goals.

8. Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

9. Professionalism: Strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent, Contractual / Temporary, Freelance
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: ₹10,894.01 - ₹30,000.00 per month
