Dog Groomer

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Bathe, dry, brush, and trim dogs to maintain their appearance and hygiene
- Clip nails and clean ears to ensure the health of the dogs
- Consult with pet parents to determine the desired grooming style and make recommendations based on the dog's coat type and breed standards
- Safely handle and restrain dogs during grooming procedures
- Clean and maintain grooming tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet parents regarding grooming services and recommendations
- Monitor the health of dogs and report any concerns to the veterinarian or pet parents
- Assist in maintaining a clean and sanitary grooming area

**Qualifications**:

- 2+ years of experience as a professional dog groomer will be a plus
- Knowledge of dog breeds and coat types, as well as breed standards for grooming
- Ability to safely handle and restrain dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other staff members
- Ability to work occasional weekends and evenings
