Vendor Executive

Job Overview:
As a Vendor Executive, your primary responsibility is to manage and maintain positive relationships with external vendors and suppliers. This position requires strong communication skills, negotiation abilities, and a keen eye for detail to uphold quality standards and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Vendor Relationship Management**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and suppliers.
- Evaluate vendor performance regularly and address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Identify opportunities for collaboration and improvement in vendor partnerships.
- **Vendor Selection and Onboarding**:
- Research and identify potential vendors based on the company's needs and specifications.
- Conduct due diligence on potential vendors to assess their capabilities, reliability, and financial stability.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth onboarding of new vendors.
- **Negotiation and Contract Management**:
- Negotiate favorable terms, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms with vendors.
- Draft, review, and manage contracts and agreements with vendors.
- Monitor contract compliance and address any deviations or issues.
- **Cost Management**:
- Work towards achieving cost savings through effective negotiation and process improvements.
- Analyze and report on cost trends, market conditions, and industry benchmarks.
- **Quality Assurance**:
- Collaborate with relevant departments to establish and maintain quality standards for products and services.
- Monitor and address any quality issues, ensuring vendors meet or exceed agreed-upon standards.
- **Communication and Coordination**:
- Serve as the liaison between the company and vendors, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and finance, to streamline processes.
- **Problem Resolution**:
- Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact vendor relationships or the procurement process.
- Implement corrective actions to address recurring problems and prevent future issues.
- **Market Research**:
- Stay informed about market trends, industry best practices, and new technologies related to vendors and procurement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience 2yrs - 4 yrs in vendor management, procurement, or a related role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess and interpret data.
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools for procurement and contract management.
**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹36,754.87 per month
