Warehouse Supervisor

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Warehouse Operations**:

- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of solar panels, inverters, and related components.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of solar products to prevent damage and ensure product quality.
- Coordinate the receipt of incoming shipments and the timely processing of orders for distribution to customers and project sites.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and audits.
- Implement best practices for stock management, ensuring adequate levels of key solar components are available.
- Monitor and report on inventory levels, tracking usage rates for solar products and replenishing stock as needed.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure all warehouse operations comply with OSHA and other safety regulations, especially concerning the handling of solar products and heavy equipment.
- Conduct regular safety audits, train staff on safe handling practices, and enforce warehouse safety policies.
- **Team Leadership and Development**:

- Lead, coach, and mentor warehouse staff, ensuring team members are well-trained and motivated.
- Delegate tasks, set performance goals, and evaluate team members' productivity and efficiency.
- Provide regular feedback and conduct performance reviews.
- **Equipment Management**:

- Oversee the proper operation and maintenance of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance to avoid downtime and ensure equipment safety.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with procurement, project management, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials for solar installation projects.
- Liaise with the operations team to optimize workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.
- **Reporting**:

- Generate reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and order fulfillment rates.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, lead times, and stock turnover rates.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of warehouse management or supervisory experience, preferably in the solar or renewable energy sector.
- Strong understanding of warehouse and inventory management processes.
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Forklift certification and experience with heavy equipment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in the solar industry or knowledge of solar components (e.g., solar panels, inverters, batteries).
- Familiarity with ERP systems or similar.
- Project management experience or certifications.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
