**Desired Qualification**:
Engineers with experience in merchandising/ supply chain or MBA with experience in merchandising.

Experience of handling premium / luxury brands will be an added advantage.

KPI:

- Category Management for a Set of brands for the channel.
- Maximize profitability and optimize returns on investments
- Increase the weighted average margins from 33% to 35% through higher margins, performance incentives etc.

JD:

- Onboarding new brand for the channel.
- Create planograms for stores considering store category, space available and catchment area.
- Rationalizing space by pruning brands and adding new brands to meet the set of objectives of returns on investment / piloting & business growth
- Ensure Top seller availability across Category A brands
- Ensuring width, depth and freshness of merchandise especially in Cat A brands
- Forecasting and managing stocks for a set of brands and managing adequate stocks during EOSS / Sales peaks.
- Increase the stock turns of brands quarter by quarter with an aim to have an average stock turn of over 2 for all the Cat A brands
- Implementing TOC and ensuring desired stock availability
- Annual business plans and deals with brands
- Up stocking during primary scheme offers
- Planning stock liquidation with brands for slow movers liquidation
- Relationship building with key partners for shared vision approach
- Retail Expansion - Timely supply of stocks and POS materials to stores.
- Must have the ability to understand business process end to end.
- Knowledge of Premium / Luxury brands will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and leadership skills as s/he has to lead teams.
- Analytical as well as business bent of mind.
