About You

You’re also a college graduate with a degree in technology or related area, authorized to work in the United States, and have at least two years of continuous work experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Coach the team members in self-management and cross-functionality; Coach them on organizing themselves to choose how best to accomplish their work, rather than being directed by others outside the team. Coach them to optimize flexibility, creativity, and productivity.
- Help the Scrum Team focus on creating high-value Increments that meet the Definition of Done.
- Help the team adopt growth mindset, iterative and incremental approach, practice customer collaboration, empiricism, continuous feedback, learning and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance, coaching, support, and facilitation, and help remove any obstacles/impediments that teams may encounter along the way.
- Ensure that all Scrum events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox.
- Facilitate stakeholder collaboration as requested or needed.
- Help those outside the Scrum Team understand which of their interactions with the Scrum Team are helpful and which are not. Help everyone change these interactions to maximize the value created by the Scrum Team.
- Serve the Product Owner in effective Product Backlog management; regularly refining the backlog, identifying dependencies, ensuring high priority items are ready for sprint planning and making the backlog visible & transparent to the Scrum Team.
- Help employees and stakeholders understand & enact an empirical approach for complex work where work is divided into smaller working bits, planning is based on the evaluation of the result of these bits (inspection and adaptation), improvement & direction is guided by experiments, examples, & experience.
- Serve the organization in several ways, including Leading, training, and coaching the organization in its Scrum adoption.
- Planning and advising Scrum implementations within the organization
- Help create an environment that is creative, safe, productive, and supportive and enables multi-directional collaboration.
- Identify and implement metrics that drive quality, delivery, and change for an initiative. Develop, track, and publish metrics, dashboards, etc. to communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Guide teams in establishing and following effective processes to manage planning, development, and deployment.
- Assesses the maturity of the scrum teams and helps the team mature at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable
- Skills and Experience:
o Bachelor's degree and 7+ years relevant IT and Scrum Master experience

o Demonstrated success in a scrum master role for 3+ years for a software development team

o Agile Certification (CSM/PSM/PMI-ACP) is a MUST.

o Experience with Azure Devops or other relevant agile tools is a MUST

o Proven skill in facilitation, continuous improvement, empowerment, transparency, and servant leadership
