**Job Description**:
ORACLE DBA Professionals having good understanding of RDBMS concepts. Experience in

installation, configuration, maintenance, Upgradation, Migration of Oracle/Oracle RAC

databases in production environment with large volume of data and transaction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Installation and creation of databases as and when required
- Configuration of Security features in database like Oracle ASO
- Configuration and maintenance of database replication and DR setup
- Import, export, taking archives of databases
- Database space management.
- Resolution of DB Crash / Rebuild due to Incident
- Installation and configuration of Database software and creation of databases in

various environments
- Database Patching and Upgrades
- Reinstallation / Reconfiguration support for existing instances if required.
- Planning and execution of recovery procedures
- Vetting of Performance tuning suggested by OEM and planning for the execution
- Database performance tuning and response monitoring
- DR Drill support for the above mentioned databases
- Implement best practices.
- Capacity planning related to hardware
- Oracle Golden Gate, ODG, Exadata Administration
- The L2 DBA should have basic knowledge of IBM DB2 RDBMS and Open

source Databases.
- Database impact analysis in case of major activities
- Preparation of RCA for Major Incidents
- Repeat Incident / Alert Analysis
- Trend analysis of historical incidents, and identification of patterns.
- Risk Analysis and mitigation planning

Primary Skills: Oracle DBA
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Should be a team player
- Experience on Oracle 11g/12c/19c database and operational support.
- Good understanding of the Oracle database, related utilities and tools
- Good understanding of the underlying operating system(Windows/Linux/Solaris)
- Good knowledge of the physical database design
- Hands-on experience in oracle database software installation.
- Hands-on experience in oracle database creation.
- Hands-on experience in database instance and parameter
- Hands-on experien1ce in tablespace and datafiles.
- Hands-on experience in User, Profile, Privileges and Roles.
- Hands-on experience in Undo tablespace.
- Hands-on experience in Logical Backup Expdp and Impdp.
- Hands-on experience in RMAN backup
- Hands-on experience in Upgrade and Migration.
- Hands-on experience of Data Guard, Switch over, Failover and Monitoring.
- Hands-on experience of ASM.
- Hands-on experience of RAC.
- Hands-on experience of performance Tuning.

Secondary Skills: MySQL/Postgres DBA
- Experience with MySQL 5.7-8.0/Postgres
- Installing and upgrading software (Percona /MariaDB/Postgres)
- Creating and managing database user accounts and permissions
- Backing up and restoring the database

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: Up to ₹1,200,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kochin, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
