**Role Type**: Individual Contributor

In this role, we are looking for an exceptional instructional designer to create and continuously improve learning programs using an array of creative approaches that inspire learners and drive productivity. Must be a team player who not only leverages their own team to respond effectively to a variety of training scenarios but also able to work closely with the rest of the Global Technical Learning team to effectively prioritize and deploy training programs based on stakeholder’s requirements. In addition, naturally exhibit the art of building and sustaining relationships with pure professionalism, proactiveness and empathy.

**Primary Responsibilities**:
**Content Development**:

- Create instructionally sound storyboards which act as a blueprint for the final course that are learner-centric and not content-centric.
- Develop assessments that measure learner outcomes including productivity and understanding.

a) Training content - Articulate 360, Articulate storyline 3, Microsoft Office Suite, SnagIt.

b) Graphic/video development - Adobe CC Suite, VYOND, and VideoScribe

c) LMS (Learning Management System) - Administration, Deployment, and Reporting

**Learning consulting and solutioning**:

- Conduct task analysis / research to identify the specific knowledge, skills, behaviors needed to achieve desired performance levels.
- Leverage technology to improve learner access and provide just in time learning.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of learner roles to ensure that learning solutions meet the needs of stakeholders and end users.
- Create realistic objectives for learning/performance for trainees and instructors.
- Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions to prepare trainers for delivery of training solutions and ensure / validate trainer readiness.
- Conduct training pilots to identify specific issues that need to be addressed prior to delivery.
- Manage curriculum portfolio to ensure accurate training materials and assessments from new hire onboarding to role specific accreditation programs.
- Measure the success of the learning program to share the summary and recommendations post the launch of the learning problem.

**Reporting**:

- Monitor and analyze training metrics / data / trends, and identify areas needing attention to enhance learning effectiveness.
- Create the project plan (with RASCI) post the training needs analysis phase and monitor the progress of each phase.
- Report content health check report by curriculum maintenance, self-review, and timely implementation of content portfolio management.

**Innovation**:

- Recommend changes to existing courses, including technology or instructional methods, to better adhere to delivery options for the course.
- Maintain knowledge of new learning approaches, technology, and tools through continuous research to ensure our solutions deliver innovation

**Secondary Responsibilities**:

- Participate in internal business projects/intra team initiatives.
- Conduct needs analysis to identify key tasks/skills to target in the curriculum and perform post implementation evaluation on key performance and business metrics.
- Train juniors / interns to perform complex instructional design tasks.

**Measurable Deliverables**:

- Content Development Project Plan adherence - timelines, phase completion
- Measure the training success against the training goals; create a detailed analysis report for:
a) What went well?

b) What could be done better?

c) What did not work?
- Remain aware of all emerging instructional technologies and make recommendations about when to adopt certain systems to continue to offer the best learning experience possible.

**Qualification & Technical Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferably in Instructional Design/Instructional Technology)
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills for the purpose of eLearning content development and stakeholder communication (hands-on experience in ID and authoring tools is a MUST)
- Excellent hands-on knowledge of rapid authoring tools - Articulate Storyline (3, 360, Rise), Captivate, Camtasia, Vyond, Adobe Animate, PowToon.
- Experience in graphic design, video design and development skills.
- Familiarity with gamification, xAPI, online learning and learning technologies.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
