Social Media Executive
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute social media strategies and campaigns that align with overall marketing goals and objectives.
- Manage social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube) and create engaging and relevant content (e.g., posts, images, videos, stories) to grow audience engagement and followership.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and customer preferences, and use data and analytics to optimize social media performance and achieve KPIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, creative, customer service) to ensure consistent brand messaging, tone of voice, and visual aesthetics across all social media channels.
- Monitor social media conversations, respond to comments and messages, and manage online reputation and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.Stay up-to-date with social media industry trends, algorithm changes, and emerging technologies, and proactively recommend new strategies and tactics to improve social media presence and performance.
- Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns (e.g., paid ads, sponsored posts) to increase reach, engagement, and conversions, and monitor and report on campaign performance.
- Analyze social media metrics (e.g., engagement, reach, click-through rate) and prepare regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of social media strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Skills and Experience:
1. Social Media Management: Strong expertise in managing various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube) and proven experience in creating and executing social media strategies, campaigns, and content that align with marketing goals.
2. Content Creation and Curation: Ability to create engaging, relevant, and visually appealing social media content (e.g., posts, images, videos, stories) that resonates with the target audience and drives engagement, as well as curating and repurposing existing content for social media use.
3. Social Media Analytics: Proficiency in using social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights) to track and analyze social media performance, derive insights, and optimize strategies based on data.
4. Branding and Messaging: Understanding of brand identity, tone of voice, and messaging, with the ability to maintain consistent branding across social media channels and create content that reflects the brand personality and values.
5. Community Management: Experience in monitoring social media conversations, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner, and managing online reputation and customer inquiries to maintain a positive brand image and customer satisfaction.
6. Digital Advertising: Knowledge of social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads) and experience in planning, executing, and optimizing social media advertising campaigns to increase reach, engagement, and conversions.
7. Market Research and Trend Analysis: Ability to conduct market research to identify social media trends, opportunities, and customer preferences, and stay up-to-date with social media industry trends, algorithm changes, and emerging technologies.
8. Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling social media content, collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, creative, customer service), and work independently or in a team environment.
9. Time and Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple social media projects, campaigns, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
10. Continuous Learning and Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving social media trends, platforms, and best practices, and proactively recommend new strategies and tactics to improve social media performance.
Who We Are Looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in social media management, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and engaging content for different social media platforms.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer) and social media analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights) to measure and optimize performance.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to think critically and creatively to solve problems and seize opportunities.
