**Job description**

Position Overview: As a Travel Sales Executive, your primary responsibility will be to promote and sell travel packages, services, and products to potential clients. You will play a crucial role in attracting and retaining customers, meeting sales targets, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. Your enthusiasm for travel and excellent communication skills will be essential in providing clients with personalized travel solutions and fostering strong relationships with travel partners.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:

- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, travel trends, and competitors' offerings to tailor sales strategies accordingly.
- Present and promote travel packages, itineraries, and services to clients, highlighting their unique features and benefits.
- Follow up with leads and negotiate deals to close sales, meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns to attract new customers.

Customer Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Provide personalized travel recommendations based on clients' preferences, budgets, and travel requirements.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM software.

Product Knowledge and Industry Updates:

- Stay up-to-date with the latest travel trends, industry news, and destination information to provide clients with relevant and accurate information.
- Familiarize yourself with the features, benefits, and pricing of various travel packages, airlines, hotels, car rental companies, and other travel-related products.

Administrative Tasks:

- Prepare and process sales contracts, invoices, and other necessary documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate with travel partners, airlines, hotels, and other service providers to ensure smooth travel arrangements for clients.

Team Collaboration:

- Work closely with other members of the sales team, travel consultants, and support staff to achieve collective goals.
- Share knowledge and best practices to enhance the overall efficiency and performance of the sales department.

Sales Reporting:

- Generate regular sales reports and performance metrics for management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the travel industry or related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
- Passion for travel and in-depth knowledge of popular travel destinations and travel products.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities to close deals and overcome objections.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and administrative tasks.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work during peak travel seasons and handle time-sensitive tasks effectively.
