**Your key responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with sales and distribution teams to deliver pre
- and post-sales support, including installation and customer training.
- Drive business development and strategic planning by providing direction for all product segments.
- Take the lead in developing initiatives with sales teams to explore new markets and expand our customer base.
- Work proactively on key opportunities to ensure timely closure and successful outcomes.
- Build and cultivate excellent customer relationships to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- The position requires extensive travel.

About you and your skills:

- PhD in a life sciences field with relevant experience, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 2 years of research/lab experience, preferably in the genomics field.
- Experience in automation, sequencing, and NGS will be highly preferred.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to address customer queries and concerns.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
- Ideally 5+ years of experience in a similar work Field Applications Science position.
