**What you will do**
- Evaluate current & emerging business requirements, and overlay developed sustainable cloud security architecture guardrail patterns with a strong understanding of business impact
- Evaluate current cloud security services and patterns, make recommendations for improvements that positively impact protections or financial efficiency. Lead & implement these changes in partnership with other architects and contributors\
- Lead development of others - peers, other working groups, so that they are enabled and embrace change. This is an influencer role
- Make recommendations & develop improvements in automation efficiencies
- Execute tactical requests and support the strategic vision
- Stay educated and aware of emerging threats and new capabilities or changes that might positively or negatively disrupt the business

**Qualifications**
- 5+ years cloud security guardrail patterns and expertise - preferably with AWS
- Strong experience with Python, and additionally automation & orchestration like Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent
- Can demonstrate experience designing, developing, and building reference architectures for public cloud providers
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required to partner with other leaders across the business to identify opportunities and risks and develop and deliver technical security solutions that support business strategies
