**Responsibilities**
- Prepare the menu as per the concept given by the executive chef, make standard recipes
- Ensure that food products, presentation, and plating are of the highest quality, and are prepared to serve in a timely manner
- Allocate work to subordinates, observe the working methods and productivity of assigned staff, assist them, and coordinate with senior staff to provide them with the necessary training.
- Assist subordinates to meet the special needs of the guest
- Assist with daily kitchen prep work and station set-up prior to service
- Ensure adequate inventory and raw material supplies
- Ensure menu and kitchen compliance as per SOPs
- Supervise and inspect all cooking equipment on a regular basis to ensure that they are kept clean, sanitary, and in perfect operating order
- Adherence to the code of conduct, safety policies and values of the organization

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in the culinary arts
- 3+ years’ experience
- Dedicated to food quality and control
- Incredible food preparation abilities
- Incredible attention to detail and creativity in presenting food.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
- Deep knowledge of the food industry and trends
- Incredible time management skills
- Ability to pass a background test
- Strong knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation standards
