**Job Description**:
We are seeking a highly motivated 2D Animation Combo Setting Artist who will be responsible for creating and assembling various elements to establish the visual style and setting for our 2D animated productions. He/She will work closely with the art director, animators, and other members of the production team to bring the desired look and feel to life.

Primary Responsibilities:
Conceptualizing and Designing: Collaborate with the art director and production team to develop the overall visual style, color schemes, and aesthetics for the animated project. Create concept art, sketches, and storyboards to communicate ideas effectively.

Background Creation: Design and illustrate the backgrounds and environments for the animated scenes, ensuring they align with the established visual style. This includes creating detailed settings, landscapes, interiors, and other elements that contribute to the overall atmosphere of the production.

Asset Integration: Work closely with animators and technical artists to integrate the background designs seamlessly into the animation pipeline. Ensure that the backgrounds align with the character animations and any required camera movements or special effects.

Detailing and Texturing: Add depth, texture, and intricate details to the backgrounds, using shading, highlights, and other techniques. Pay attention to small elements that contribute to the overall realism or stylized appearance of the scenes.

Collaboration and Communication: Effectively communicate and collaborate with the production team, including art directors, animators, and other artists. Incorporate feedback and make necessary adjustments to the backgrounds to achieve the desired results.

Deadline Management: Adhere to project schedules and deadlines, effectively managing time and prioritizing tasks to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work. Maintain a balance between efficiency and attention to detail.

Industry Trends and Research: Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in 2D animation and related fields. Conduct research to gather references and inspiration that can enhance the visual quality of the production.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proficiency in 2D animation software and tools such as Adobe After effects, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator.
- Strong artistic and drawing skills, with an understanding of composition, color theory, and perspective.
- Ability to create visually appealing and detailed backgrounds that align with the desired visual style and atmosphere.
- Knowledge of animation principles and how backgrounds integrate into the animation pipeline.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the production team.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow art direction and incorporate feedback.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in project requirements or visual styles.
- Passion for animation and a keen eye for aesthetics

Education and Experience:

- Minimum 1 year experience (Talented confident fresher can also apply)
- BFA, or other relevant animation courses from institutes.

**Location**:
Kochi (INFOPARK, JLN stadium, Kalloor)
