**Job Title: Office Boy**

The Office Boy, also known as an Office Assistant or Office Attendant, plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of an office environment. They are responsible for various administrative and clerical tasks, ensuring smooth operations within the office premises. The role often involves providing support to employees and visitors, handling basic office errands, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the workplace.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Maintaining Cleanliness**: Keeping the office premises clean and organized by regularly sweeping, mopping, dusting, and ensuring the cleanliness of common areas such as the lobby, kitchen, and restrooms.
- **Assisting with Office Supplies**: Monitoring and replenishing office supplies such as stationery, pantry items, toiletries, and other consumables as needed. This includes managing inventory levels and placing orders when necessary.
- **Handling Deliveries and Mail**: Receiving and distributing incoming mail, packages, and deliveries to respective departments or individuals. Ensuring timely dispatch of outgoing mail and packages.
- **Running Errands**: Performing various errands outside the office premises, such as purchasing office supplies, making bank deposits, collecting documents, or delivering packages.
- **Supporting Administrative Tasks**: Assisting in basic administrative tasks, including photocopying documents, filing paperwork, scanning, and shredding documents. Providing support during meetings or events by arranging seating, serving refreshments, or setting up equipment as required.
- **Assisting Staff and Visitors**: Welcoming visitors, clients, or guests to the office and guiding them to the appropriate person or department. Providing assistance to staff members with tasks such as carrying documents, arranging meeting rooms, or helping with office equipment.
- **Maintaining Security**: Monitoring and ensuring the security of the office premises by maintaining vigilance over entrances and exits, reporting suspicious activities, and adhering to security protocols.
- **Performing Basic Office Maintenance**: Reporting any maintenance issues or repairs needed within the office premises to the appropriate authorities. Assisting with minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing air fresheners, or fixing minor leaks.
- **Adhering to Health and Safety Standards**: Following health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. This includes proper handling of cleaning chemicals, adhering to fire safety regulations, and maintaining cleanliness standards in compliance with company policies.
- **Other Duties as Assigned**: Performing any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the office manager or supervisor to contribute to the efficient functioning of the office.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Proven experience in a similar role is advantageous.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with office equipment.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
