**Job Title: Cosmetology Faculty**

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Instruction**: Develop and deliver engaging curriculum in accordance with state standards and industry best practices. Teach courses on hair cutting, coloring, styling, skincare, nail technology, and salon management.
- **Assessment**: Create and administer assessments to evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback to foster growth and improvement.
- **Student Support**: Mentor and advise students, offering guidance on academic and career opportunities within the cosmetology field.
- **Curriculum Development**: Collaborate with faculty and industry professionals to continuously update and improve the curriculum, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the beauty industry.
- **Demonstrations and Workshops**: Conduct hands-on demonstrations and workshops to enhance students’ practical skills and knowledge.
- **Professional Development**: Stay current with trends, techniques, and products in the cosmetology industry. Attend workshops, conferences, and training sessions to maintain licensure and improve teaching skills.
- **Compliance**: Ensure that all instruction and practices comply with state regulations and safety standards.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with other faculty members, administrators, and industry partners to promote the cosmetology program and enhance student success.
- **Community Engagement**: Participate in community outreach programs, events, and activities that promote the cosmetology program and the beauty industry.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: A degree in cosmetology or a related field; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum of [1 years] of experience in the cosmetology field, with teaching or training experience preferred.
- **Skills**: Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students. Proficient in using educational technology and tools.
