Credit Risk Forecasting Analytics

As an Associate in the Auto Loss Forecasting team, you'll work to provide best in class analytics and develop production of the credit loss forecast and loan loss reserve (LLR) for all JPMorgan Chase & Co. Auto Loans & Leases. You will be required to innovate solutions leveraging data ensuring solutions developed is future ready, optimal and creates ease of use for end consumer. You will also be expected to ensure delivery of comprehensive & feasible data model and dashboards keeping needs of key stakeholder together.

**Responsibilities**:

- Actively determine the loss forecasting results and drivers, backed by thorough analysis
- Manage storyboarding of different forecasts, including deck preparation with attention to accuracy and deadlines
- Conduct loss attribution analysis based on economic scenario, portfolio trends, planned business actions and model components/assumptions
- Participate in cross-functional communications with Risk Management, Finance, Marketing and Collections to inform the forecast on current learnings and incorporate strategic initiatives
- Recommend and size overlays; P roduce thorough documentation for audit and controls
- Understand model inputs and outputs; conduct model back testing and sensitivity analysis to inform future model development actions
- Manage ad hoc analysis; starting with identifying opportunities and proposing effective solutions followed by presentation to senior management

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent work/training is required. Advanced degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in Credit Risk, Statistical Modeling, Modelling Analytics
- Understanding of the US consumer credit products and the US Auto Industry is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem solving and story boarding skills
- Proficient in SAS, Python, Tableau and Alteryx
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Advanced Excel, VBA and PowerPoint)
- Well-organized and structured with good communication and interpersonal skills

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**

- Experience of working in an Agile framework
- Experience in risk strategy, risk modelling, automation
