**Description**
- Interpret medical imaging studies, including X-rays, ultrasounds, computed tomography (CT) scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, nuclear medicine scans, and mammograms, to provide accurate and timely diagnostic reports.
- Perform and interpret specialized radiological procedures and interventions, such as fluoroscopy-guided procedures, image-guided biopsies, vascular interventions, and mínimally invasive interventions, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with referring physicians, healthcare teams, and other medical specialists to integrate imaging findings into patient care plans, facilitate multidisciplinary discussions, and coordinate patient management.
- Provide expert consultation and guidance to healthcare providers on the appropriate use of imaging modalities, selection of imaging protocols, and interpretation of imaging findings.
- Participate in quality assurance activities, including adherence to radiation safety protocols, quality control measures, and compliance with regulatory standards, to ensure high standards of image quality, accuracy, and safety.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities, including participation in conferences, workshops, and continuing medical education (CME) activities, to stay updated on advances in radiology technology and evidence-based practices.
- Provide leadership and supervision to radiology department staff, including radiology technologists, residents, and support personnel, ensuring efficient workflow, resource utilization, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to research and academic endeavors within the field of radiology, including participation in research projects, publications, and educational activities for medical students, residents, and fellows.
