**Job Title**: Banquet Coordinator

**Job Summary**:
The Banquet Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of event planning and execution within a venue's banquet or events department. This role involves coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure that events are organized, executed seamlessly, and meet or exceed client expectations.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Event Coordination**:

- Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements, including guest count, menu preferences, room setup, audiovisual needs, and any special requests.
- Plan and coordinate all logístical aspects of events, including room layout, seating arrangements, décor, and entertainment.
- Schedule and conduct pre-event meetings with clients to finalize details and ensure alignment on event expectations.
- **Vendor Management**:

- Liaise with vendors such as caterers, florists, decorators, and entertainers to secure services and coordinate logistics.
- Negotiate contracts, review proposals, and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Coordinate with the venue's operations team to ensure that all vendor requirements are met on the day of the event.
- **Client Communication**:

- Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the event planning process.
- Provide prompt and professional responses to client inquiries, concerns, and requests.
- Communicate event details and updates effectively to all stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal staff.
- **Event Execution**:

- Oversee event setup, including décor placement, table settings, audiovisual equipment, and signage.
- Supervise event staff, including servers, bartenders, and support personnel, to ensure smooth event execution.
- Address any issues or concerns that arise during events, implementing quick and effective solutions to maintain guest satisfaction.
- **Post-Event Evaluation**:

- Conduct post-event debriefings with clients and internal teams to review event outcomes and gather feedback.
- Analyze event performance metrics, including guest satisfaction surveys and financial reports, to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop recommendations for enhancing future events based on feedback and lessons learned.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience (typically 2-3 years) in event planning and coordination, preferably in a banquet or hospitality setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.

**Salary**: ₹16,440.16 - ₹360,000.00 per month
