Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for banquet and event spaces.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead generation.
  • Cultivate relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and other potential customers to generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Conduct site tours and presentations to showcase banquet and event facilities, highlighting features and amenities.
  • Collaborate with the operations and culinary team to create customized event proposals and packages tailored to clients' needs and budgets.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring profitability and adherence to company policies.
  • Ensuring Banqueting contracts are signed after proper due diligence and adhering to approval matrix/ set processes.
  • Coordinating with internal team such as culinary, operations, HR, inside sales, etc to ensure smooth execution of events.
  • Being SPOC for clients and Elior for pre & post Banqueting service issues/escalations.
  • Responsible for building and updating existing and prospective clients database.
  • Ensuring 2/24 practices (response within 2hours and resolutions in 24 hours) for any queries/communication from clients.
  • Ensuring the existing clients are retained and developing business new sectors /new territories in assigned geography.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Participate in trade shows, networking events, and industry associations to promote the venue and expand the client base.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.


What's required:

  • 7+years of experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality or events industry, with a focus on banquet and event space.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client events and meetings.


Services/FMCG/Manufacturing Industry:

  • · Working experience with MS Excel and ERP Tools
  • · Strong negotiation, Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills
