**About the job**

The General Manager is responsible for understanding and identifying a customer need, supports pull-through activities relative to the customer strategy and market access, delivers sales results and ensures that The Diagnostic Centre is viewed as a valued partner to healthcare professionals and their patients. The General Manager will get involved in discussions related to the supply and distribution of superior product and disease state knowledge that allows them to engage in a clinical dialogue with healthcare professionals; and effectively educates on approved indications and product efficacy/safety profiles to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Play active role in hiring, retaining the lead roles in the centre.
- Work in close relation with the department leads, doctors and other staff in decision making.
- Developing cordial relationship with in-house doctor’s, radiologists and other senior staffs and thereby actively participating in recruitments, promotions and/ or other activities related to the business.
- Actively participate in all the business/ non-business activities related to the centre.
- Develop and drive outstanding sales performance that ensure sales forecasts are met or exceeded.
- Effectively uses assigned budgets to drive therapeutic and territory expectations. Customizes discussions and client interactions based on customer's needs in a compliant and ethical manner.
- Maintains current understanding of local market, practice structures, business models, and key influencers.
- Routinely shares such information with relevant Radius stakeholders (e.g., Sales and Commercial Leaders. Works with appropriate customers at accounts to understand practice structure, business model, key influencers, network structure, customer needs and identifies business opportunities.
- Make regular visits to the different centres and ensure on smooth running of the business.
- Work with leadership to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of all KPI goals and delivery on all sales objectives. Capitalizes on formulary approvals and other opportunities through effective implementation of the strategic plan.
- Work with other Radius Health personnel around common objectives to coordinate selling efforts.
- Providing timely and competent administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample, and expense reporting.
- Overseeing large projects and interpreting performance reports
- In case of receipt of any presents, commissions or any other sort of gratifications from any person or party, you shall report the same to the senior authorities in writing

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- Must have strong sense of self-motivation/initiative, excellent decision-making judgment, strong teaming/collaboration skills (across functions) and the ability to learn and adapt to environment to overcome obstacles
- 7+ years of previous sales experience managing Speciality Labs, injectable pharmaceuticals, buy and bill or medical device preferred
- Experience calling on hospitals
- Experience working in a science or healthcare environment developing customer relationships.
- Understanding of account-based selling, biologic and injectable markets a significant plus
- Experience working with Specialty Labs, Pharmacies, Distribution Hubs, and Managed Care providers to ensure customers' and patients' needs are addressed
- Effectively inform and build a business plan based on depth and breadth of customer business needs, resources, and products
- Ability to analyse data/metrics to assess progress against objectives as well as diagnose performance issues and identify new opportunities.
- Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information in a highly adaptable and effective manner
- Must have Bachelor's Degree (any major) from an accredited college or university as well as a valid driver's license and safe driving record; may require some overnight travel.

**Work Environment**:
The work is performed in the office environment. Air, vehicle, and overnight travel is rarely required for this role. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use hands to type, handle paperwork and sort, file or manipulate documents. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and talk. The employee is required to utilize audio visual programs for frequent meetings and discussions with fellow employees, vendors, outside agencies and/or customers.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
