**About Logically**
- We are a technology company combining advanced AI with human intelligence and expertise to tackle harmful and problematic online content at scale. We want to provide everyone, from individual citizens to national governments, with the tools they need to identify and disarm damaging and misleading information.
Since we were founded in 2017, Logically has been working to protect democratic debate and process, and provide access to trustworthy information. This has led us to create a suite of products and services to reduce and eventually eliminate the harm caused by the spread of misinformation and targeted disinformation campaigns.
We are an award-winning international team of over 200 data scientists, engineers, analysts, developers and investigators, working with governments and organisations around the world in the fields of national security, public safety, election integrity, and public health.
We are verified signatories of the International Fact-Checking Network, with offices in the UK, US and India.
**Primary Responsibilities**
- As a Logically fact-checker, you will directly contribute to our mission to understand and combat mis and disinformation. Our fact-checkers research and write original, high-quality fact checks to strict editorial standards and tight deadlines for a mix of audiences, from the readers of our website to private and public sector clients. We also work closely with major social media companies to moderate misinformative content on their platforms. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of fact-checking initiatives and the development of our fact-checking technology and products.
**Essential Skills and Experience**
- A bachelor’s degree in any arts, humanities or STEM field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong English language copy-writing skills
- A keen eye for detail
- The ability to grasp new and complicated information quickly
- A strong understanding of the political and media landscape in India.
- The ability to work well to tight deadlines
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to remain impartial and critical while writing on complex and sensitive topics.
**Desirable Skills and Experience**
- Professional newsroom, fact-checking, or other editorial experience of
- ** one to four years**
- Familiarity with fact-checking skills and techniques and/or Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) techniques
- A master’s degree in any arts, humanities, or STEM field
