- Designing and supervising the creation of CG imagery as it relates to the technical execution of the VFX Supervisor’s vision of the Client brief
- Keeping up on current technology trends and tools (hardware and software) that best suits the production and SpinVFX in the development of a stronger creative technical environment
- Coordinating solutions with the Technical Directors (TDs) in solving problems the production faces on day-to-day basis
- Assisting the Department Supervisors and Leads in supervising artists in achieving the artistic goals of the production when needed
- Working with Head of CG and Head of Production to identify any development needed for future projects

**Requirement**:

- 10+ years of working experience as a supervisor in production environment
- Extensive working knowledge of MAYA;
- Comfortable with a LINUX/UNIX environment;
- Thorough understanding of the various technical and creative aspect of production for CG
- Experience working with the SHOTGUN asset manager
- Complete understanding of 3D principles and production pipelines is essential
- Proven team leadership and strong motivational skills
- Technically and creatively astute
- Excellent working knowledge of Katana, experience with RenderMan and/or Arnold is an asset
- As a go-to person, strong problems solving skills
- Must have a sense of strong team dynamics and positive morale generating style
- A degree in computer science, math or engineering is required
- Must have a mature approach to software design and implementation
