Government Quality Assurance Coordinator

The jobholder is fully accountable for coordinating the End2End Government Quality Assurance activities related to the product deliverables under the overall India C295 contract.
- Liaise with internal and external program stakeholders to ensure adequate preparation for the product presentation activities to the Government Quality Assurance (GQA) Authorities
- Liaise with the GQA representatives to lead the product presentation and lead the resolution of issues / queries from the GQA representatives
- Support the C295 India Team and the subcontractor for appropriate closure of open items and coordinate with GQA representatives for acceptance
- Continuous Improvement of the GQA Product presentation process.

The job holder is accountable for enhanced liaison with the Government Quality Assurance Authorities (DGAQA representatives) to coordinate and streamline product presentations for smooth clearance and build a trustful relationship. The job holder plays a key role in anticipating, planning and providing logistic support to the interactions between Airbus, key stakeholders and the GQA Representatives.

The job holder needs to interface between the Subcontractor, Airbus internal stakeholders and the GQA Representatives to ensure all the product presentations are successful. The Jobholder is accountable to ensure that all observations are adequately documented, analyzed and closed with appropriate response to the GQA representative.

The Job holder shall Identify lessons learned and improvement opportunities so as to ensure the overall improvement of the product presentation process.

**Key Deliverables**:
The Job Holder is accountable for ensuring the successful clearance of the Aircraft Components / Sub assemblies and Major Assemblies manufactured by Airbus DS Sub-contractor.
- Coordinate the internal inspections and ensure readiness for the Authority inspections on time including preparation of documentation, internal operational gate outcomes, control reports.
- Plan, Manage and Coordinate with the GQA representatives for the product presentations including document review and physical reviews. Ensure the onsite readiness of the product for presentation as per the plan.
- Resolve the issues, queries and findings by the GQA representative at the time of product presentation and record the open items in the Airbus Internal tool. Liaise with Sub Contractor / Airbus Internal stakeholders to ensure timely closure and response to the GQA on the status of open items.
- Maintain and report the data related to Product Presentation and associated status to Internal stakeholders.
- Support the Program and other functions in GQA / Customer Audits and Inspections related to AFQMS
- Manage risk assessment and negotiation of new inspections points or product presentations with GQA.
- Ensure identification and successful implementation of Lessons learnt and continuous improvement opportunities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **GQA Coordination**
- Liaise with GQA representatives and ensure product presentation is completed on time without interruption to the production flow / Delivery schedule
- Communicate with the authorities on the status of the product and justify the outstanding activities
- Manage queries / issues and ensure resolution on the spot. Record and coordinate closure of open actions related to product presentations
- Ensure the resolution of open actions is bought off by the Authorities
- **Product Presentation readiness**
- Review Inspection / Test Reports and initiate necessary actions and assure they are performed by personnel with valid authorization
- Ensure that the product is ready for GQA product presentation in all respects including documentation and physical readiness
- Ensure all pending works are closed wherever possible before the product presentation
- Monitor and report inspections points and potential deviations
- **Continuous Improvement**
- Manage Continuous Improvement and support the sub-contractor and improve the way of working
- Monitor the Manufacturing Process and ensure the sub-contractor follows the established by Airbus DS to achieve success in the product presentations.
- **Quality Assurance Management**
- Support the Program Quality Manager in the Program Quality Activities
- Ensure deployment of Quality Assurance plan for Airbus India and also with the Subcontractor
- Support the Program Quality Manager in managing the Authority Assessments and deployment of Program Quality Deliverables
- Managing reports within the perimeter of GQA coordination and support in preparation for various activities related to quality management
- Support the program in managing quality requirements related to the contract.
