Field Sales Officer

Key Responsibilities:
- **Sales and Business Development**:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the chemical industry.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and their needs.
- Prepare and deliver presentations on products and services to clients.
- Negotiate and close sales agreements.
- **Customer Relationship Management**:
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients.
- Address customer queries and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- **Product Knowledge**:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s chemical products and services.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.
- **Sales Reporting and Documentation**:
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.
- Use CRM software to track customer information and sales progress.
- **Field Activities**:
- Travel to customer sites for meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
- **Collaboration and Coordination**:
- Work closely with the sales team and other departments to achieve company objectives.
- Provide feedback to product development and marketing teams based on customer insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven sales experience in the chemical industry or a similar field.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- **Sales Acumen**: Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- **Customer Service**: Strong focus on customer needs and relationship-building.
- **Analytical Skills**: Ability to analyze market trends and sales data.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- **Negotiation**: Skilled in negotiating contracts and closing deals.
- **Time Management**: Efficient in managing time and prioritizing tasks.
Work Environment:
- This role involves significant travel to customer sites and industry events.
- May require working outside standard office hours to meet client needs and deadlines.
