**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and supervise a team of cooks, commis chefs, and kitchen assistants in the assigned section of the kitchen.
- Plan, organize, and execute food preparation activities according to standardized recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.
- Ensure the timely and efficient production of menu items during service periods, coordinating with other kitchen sections as needed.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, providing guidance on culinary techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen procedures.
- Monitor food quality and presentation, conducting regular inspections to uphold standards of taste, appearance, and consistency.
- Maintain inventory levels of food ingredients, supplies, and equipment in the assigned section, and place orders as necessary.
- Collaborate with the Sous Chef or Executive Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and food costing activities.
- Implement and enforce hygiene and sanitation protocols in compliance with food safety regulations and HACCP standards.
- Assist in the development of seasonal menus, special event menus, and promotional offerings to enhance the culinary offerings of the establishment.
- Participate in kitchen meetings, briefings, and training sessions to ensure effective communication and teamwork within the culinary team.

**Qualifications**:

- Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution preferred.
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a reputable restaurant, hotel, or food service establishment.
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of international cuisine, cooking techniques, and culinary trends.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Creativity and innovation in menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Madurai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:
