Job Descriptions

Department Accounts

Reporting to Sr. Manager
- Accounts

Location Thane

**1. Accounts payable**
To ensure that bills are: a) Process as per SOP with accurate accounting
Tasks b) Timely invoice booking & payment (including advance payment and Foreign vendors adhering with proper tax deduction) c) Checking of contract document before making payments

**2. Creditors scrutiny, advance and confirmation**
a) Perform ledger scrutiny of vendors and other liabilities. b) Monthly tracking and follow up with concern team for settlement of advance.

**3. Timely closing of monthly books of accounts**
a) To ensure that all provision entries have been accounted for in the books b) Preparation of weekly/monthly MIS pack including all schedule, trackers, and ageing reports

**4. Direct tax (TDS) compliance & Indirect tax compliances**
**(GST)**
a) Critical review of returns data and return should be free of errors b) To ensure that taxes are paid on monthly basis & there are no delays in payments of the same

**5. Employee reimbursement**
a) Checking of Employee reimbursement form b) No employee reimbursement should be processed without internal approvals. c) Making payment to employee for reimbursement claim

**6. Audit compliance**
a) Preparation of error free statutory and internal audit schedule, co-ordination with the auditors regarding
Accounts payable matters.

1. Knowledge of finance, accounting, Taxation including
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles & Accounting standards
Technical Skills 2. Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting
Or Desired systems

4. In
- depth knowledge about the commercial aspects of a
Fintech company.

5. Working knowledge about GST & TDS
6. Conversant in Tally Prime, SAP will be an advantage
7. Computer savvy and good communication skills

Education B. Com/M. Com
