**Job Summary**

The Stores officer is responsible for complete management of stores. Continuous improvement of stores activities. Accurate accounting of inventory. Co-ordinate with production and purchase teams for planning. Timely information to Finance team. Physical verification of inventory as and when specified. Efficient team working abilities. Maintenance of Import records.

**Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Supervise the material receipt and to ensure physical count is properly done before accounting the import /indigenous bills.
- Report shortages / damage materials to respective person for re-order.
- Account Goods receipt in books (ERP/SAP) based on Vendor Bills / DC. Ensure accuracy in entering quantity and other statutory information.
- To provide information about the receipt of warranty materials, discrepancy on receipt of material, if any, etc. Submit warranty & Shipping discrepancy reports for getting credit.
- Co-ordinate for physical verification of stocks at regular intervals and ensure tallies with Book stock.
- Ensure materials are properly placed in respective bins / location.
- Timely issue of materials to production
- Co-ordinate with packers for dispatching the materials.
- Report non-moving & slow-moving material.
- To raise Job Work DC and to ensure that the inventory held by the third-party vendors and at job work are safe and get reports on them on a regular basis.
- Maintain records and follow for receipt of materials sent out for Job work.
- Actively involve in continuous improvement
- Co-ordinate with planning / purchase department for timely ordering materials.
- Promotes NBS Next internally and encourages and teaches others about its principles. Applies these to their
- day-to-day activities and can propose ideas in relation to NBS Next.
- Monitor inventory levels and re-stocks as needed for production planning.
- Ensure timely distribution of production order kits to stations as needed.
- Maintain record of Import / indigenous purchase bills
- Attend audit query if any and physical verification of stock.
- Provide & maintain documents for moving materials from warehouse to Factory and factory to warehouse.
- GST knowledge will be an added advantage.

**Education and Experience Requirements**
- Bachler degree in Commerce
- 3 to 5 years work experience in manufacturing Industry.
- Working knowledge of ERP: SAP / MS Navision

**Preferred Skills and Abilities**
- Knowledge of GST rules
- Work experience of ERP/SAP
- Good communication skills.
- MIS reports.
