Job Title: Sales Representative - MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing)
Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team specializing in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) solutions. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating leads, cultivating relationships with clients, and driving sales growth for our range of MEP products and services. This role requires a strong understanding of the construction industry, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prospect and qualify potential clients in the construction industry, including architects, engineers, contractors, developers, and building owners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet their MEP requirements.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings in the MEP sector.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales strategies, promotional materials, and campaigns to target specific market segments and drive brand awareness.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and contract negotiations, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with client expectations.
- Coordinate with internal teams including engineering, procurement, and project management to ensure smooth handover and execution of sales orders.
- Track sales activities, pipeline development, and customer interactions using CRM software, providing regular updates and forecasts to management.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, codes, and standards relevant to MEP systems, ensuring compliance and adherence to best practices in sales engagements.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. Technical qualifications in MEP disciplines are advantageous.
- Proven track record of success in sales roles within the construction industry, preferably selling MEP products, systems, or services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and influence decision-makers at all levels.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and other sales productivity tools.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required depending on the job location and responsibilities.
- Professional certifications or memberships in relevant industry associations (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, NECA) are a plus.
**Salary**: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
