IT Technician

**IT TECHNICIAN ROLE (REFURBISHMENT)**

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
We are looking for an IT Technician to join our team and handle the refurbishment of electronic items received from other companies. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and testing various IT equipment to ensure they meet quality standards before resale.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Inspect incoming electronic items, including laptops, desktops, servers, and peripherals, for damage and functionality issues.

2. Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues using troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic tools.

3. Clean, sanitize, and refurbish electronic items to restore them to like-new condition.

4. Upgrade components, such as memory, storage, and processors, to enhance performance and functionality.

6. Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance checks to ensure refurbished items meet industry standards and customer expectations.

7. Document all refurbishment activities, including repairs, upgrades, and testing results, accurately and thoroughly.

8. Maintain inventory of refurbished electronic items and components, including tracking serial numbers, quantities, and locations.

9. Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to prioritize refurbishment tasks based on customer demand and market trends.

10. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

11. Provide technical support and assistance to other team members as needed.

12. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to IT refurbishment.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

Any graduates, BCA, Engineering, Diploma in electronics and communication.
