**General Requirements**

1. The Deputy Chief Technologist (DCT) belongs to the category of managers and reports directly to the Chief Technologist (CT) of the joint venture.

2. The Deputy Chief Technologist must be aware of:

- (a) Profile, specialization and features of the organizational and technological structure of production;
(b) Technology of production of the enterprise's products and policy in the field of quality;
(c) Organization of technological preparation of production;
(d) Production capacities, technical characteristics, design features of equipment and products, mode of operation of the enterprise;
(e) Technical requirements for materials and finished products;
(f) Regulations, instructions and other guidance materials on the development and execution of technical documentation;
(g) Organizational and administrative documents, regulatory and methodological materials relating to the technology of manufacturing parts and assembly units;
(h) Fundamentals of labor legislation;
(i) Current legislation in the field of its activity;
(j) rules and norms of labor protection, safety measures, industrial sanitation, industrial and fire safety;
(k) internal labor regulations;
(l) **Russian, English and preferably Hindi languages.**

3. In his activities The Deputy Chief Technologist is guided by:
- (a) Office orders, directives and other regulatory legal documents of higher managers and management bodies;
(b) the present job description;
(c) internal labor regulations of the Enterprise.

4. The DCT is appointed and released from his position by office order of the General Director - CEO or an authorized person of the Enterprise in the manner prescribed by the current labor legislation of the Republic of India.

5. During the absence of the CT (due to illness, vacation, business trip, etc.), the deputy chief technologist performs his official duties and bears full responsibility for their effective, timely and high-quality performance.

6. During the absence of the DCT (due to illness, vacation, business trip, etc.), his official duties are performed by a duly appointed person who acquires the appropriate rights and bears full responsibility for the proper performance of the duties assigned to him.

7. The DCT is obliged to:
- (a) Participate in determining the main directions of the technological policy of the Enterprise in the field of metalworking, stamping, assembly and testing, protective, decorative and galvanic coatings, technologies for processing polymeric materials, welding and other reworks/repairs used at the Enterprise in the manufacture of products.

(b) Together with the CEO, CT and other team members manage the preparation of plans for the introduction of new equipment and technology, increase the technical and economic efficiency of production, develop technological documentation, and organize control over the provision of workshops, sections and other production units of the Enterprise.

(c) Together with the CEO, CT and other team members review and approve changes to the technical documentation.

(d) Lead the management of the development of technological documentation and organize control over the provision of the same at sites, workshops and other sub divisions of the Enterprise.

(e) Monitor the implementation of current and long-term plans for the technological preparation of production, compliance with established technological processes.

(f) Identify violations of technological discipline at the Enterprise and take effective measures to eliminate them.

(g) Comply with the requirements of the Management Policy of the Enterprise in the field of corporate integrated management system (CIMS) that meets the requirements of international standards ISO 9001 (quality management system, which is an evaluation criterion for managing work processes aimed at improving product quality), ISO 14001 (environmental management system), ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety management system).

(h) Organize his/her activities in accordance with the requirements of the business goals of the Enterprise and organize his/her work to achieve them.

(i) In a timely manner to get acquainted and organize familiarization of subordinate personnel with the local regulations of the Company (changes in them) directly related to their work activities, including the documents on production processes.

(j) Implement measures to improve the work of working personnel in order to increase labor productivity, reduce labor intensity and improve the organization of job/work stations.

(k) Take timely measures to eliminate and prevent violations of the rules and norms of labor protection, industrial safety, industrial sanitation, safety, environmental protection and fire safety.

(l) Ensure the protection/secrecy of information consisting of any state/commercial secret or any other confidential information.

(m) To carry out and ensure that the employees of the technological unit comply with the internal labor
