We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Billing Operator with extensive knowledge of Genesis software to join our team. As a Billing Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient billing processes within our organization. Your expertise in Genesis software will be instrumental in managing billing operations and supporting the finance department.

**Responsibilities**:
**Genesis Software Management**: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of Genesis billing software to manage and maintain the billing system efficiently. Perform regular updates, configurations, and troubleshoot any software-related issues that may arise.

**Billing Data Entry**: Accurately enter billing information into the system, ensuring all details are inputted correctly and in a timely manner. This includes customer data, services rendered, pricing, and any relevant billing codes.

**Billing Verification**: Review and validate billing entries to ensure accuracy and completeness. Identify and rectify any discrepancies or errors, collaborating with relevant teams or individuals when necessary.

**Invoice Generation**: Generate invoices based on approved billing data and ensure they comply with the company's billing policies and procedures. Verify billing amounts, item descriptions, and payment terms before sending invoices to customers.

**Billing Records Maintenance**: Maintain organized and up-to-date billing records in both electronic and physical formats. Ensure records are readily accessible for auditing purposes or historical references.

**Customer Communication**: Liaise with customers regarding billing inquiries, disputes, and clarifications. Provide excellent customer service by addressing their concerns promptly and professionally.

**Reporting**: Generate regular billing reports for the finance department, highlighting key metrics and billing trends. Assist in preparing financial reports related to billing operations as needed.

**Compliance**: Stay up-to-date with relevant billing regulations and industry standards to ensure compliance with legal and financial requirements.

**Process Improvement**: Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of billing processes. Suggest and implement improvements to streamline billing operations and reduce errors.

**Education**: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional certification or training in billing software and financial processes is a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresher, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 24 months

**Salary**: ₹14,423.45 - ₹58,642.55 per month
