**Job Title**:Lecturer in Medical Surgical Nursing**

**Qualification and Experience**: M.Sc in Medical Surgical Nursing with teaching experience of 1 to 3 years in a Nursing College.

**Responsibilities**: As a Lecturer in Medical Surgical Nursing, your roles and responsibilities may include:
**Teaching and Instruction**: Delivering lectures, conducting practical demonstrations, and facilitating discussions on various topics related to medical surgical nursing. This involves preparing lesson plans, developing instructional materials, and assessing students' learning progress.

**Curriculum Development**: Collaborating with other faculty members to design and update the medical surgical nursing curriculum, ensuring it aligns with current industry standards and regulatory requirements. This may involve reviewing and selecting appropriate textbooks, reference materials, and technological resources.

**Research and Scholarship**: Engaging in scholarly activities such as conducting research studies, publishing research findings in academic journals, and presenting at conferences. This helps contribute to the advancement of medical surgical nursing knowledge and promotes evidence-based practice.

**Mentoring and Advising**: Providing guidance and support to students, serving as an academic advisor, and offering mentorship to help students navigate their educational journey. This includes assisting with course selection, career planning, and addressing any academic or personal challenges students may encounter.

**Clinical Supervision**: Overseeing students' clinical experiences in medical surgical settings, ensuring they receive appropriate hands-on training and adhere to professional standards and ethical guidelines. **Collaborative Engagement**: Collaborating with colleagues within the nursing department and across disciplines to foster a positive and interdisciplinary learning environment.
