Hands-on leader in testing organization.
In-depth understanding of smart meter test methodologies. Study test frameworks, perform technical analysis and design software/firmware automation test architecture.
Provides overall leadership on test strategy, automation framework, script design, script execution, environment design and advanced Test Management strategies. Main objectives are improvement in testing effectiveness, cost and quality.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives and gather automation requirements.
Lead the design, development, debugging and implementation of test automation. Plan the schedule.
Lead script code reviews and provide guidance on automation best practices.
Responsible for the research and implementation of advanced features. Provide consultation on the most complex testing strategies
Provide training and technical support to the test program users. Develop and enhance the automation skills within the team.
Responsible for the design, enhancement and future growth of test automation architecture and framework..
**Requirements**:
Minimum degree in Computer Science.
Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in software development or test program development.
Minimum 5 years of manual and automated testing experience of software or firmware
Experience with a variety of test tools and software testing practices, including developing, implementing, maintaining and managing manual/automated testing systems and environments.
Proficiency with 2 or more of following programming languages/frameworks: Java, frameworks,
Hands-on experience with Selenium.
Experience in following fields and technologies is an added advantage: Communication testing, Energy and energy measurement and Specific testing qualifications and certifications.
Strong analysis, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills
Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, and positive working attitude.
Ability to work independently on assigned task with minimum supervisio
Develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standards.

Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of target audience, turning insights into language for user success.
Develop and maintain detailed database of reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications.
Evaluate current content and develop innovative methods for improvement.

**Responsibilities**:
Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with QA departments to understand project requirements.

Work with development and support leads to identify documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine best solutions for data compilation and centralized storage.

Required skills and qualifications.
Two or more years of experience as an effective technical writer

Experience in writing documentation
Hands on experience in testing and using JIRA, Azure for defect management system
Experience in QA methodology
Experience with Agile frameworks and regression testing
Able to understand client’s requirement and align the test cases accordingly
Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies, test plans, and adopt standard testing practices and strategies
Active participation in releases by handling of pre/post release requirements
Should be able to identify and mitigate risk
Comfortable and effective reporting to management
Familiarity with testing tools and defect management system
Maintain traceability Metrix of functionality and test cases
