Job description of a dispatch

Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate Dispatch Operations: Manage the daily activities related to dispatch operations, ensuring efficient scheduling, routing, and timely delivery of goods or services, including packing.

Monitor Dispatch Process: Monitor the progress of dispatch activities, track shipments, and ensure adherence to delivery schedules.

Communication: Maintain communication with internal teams, drivers, and customers to ensure smooth execution of dispatch operations and address any issues or concerns that may arise.

Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation related to dispatch activities, including invoices, e-invoices, e-way bills, delivery receipts, and shipment manifests.

Inventory Management: Ensure to complete internal documentation before dispatch of material. i.e. ensure the accounting and inventory systems show required stock in hand before dispatch.

Resolve Issues: Handle any discrepancies, delays, or other issues that may arise during the dispatch process and implement solutions to resolve them promptly.

Quality Assurance
- Packing: Ensure that goods or services dispatched meet quality standards and are packaged appropriately to prevent damage during transit.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies governing dispatch operations, including safety regulations and delivery protocols.

Performance Tracking: Analyze dispatch performance metrics and identify areas for improvement to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Team Management: Provide guidance and supervision to dispatch staff, including drivers and dispatch coordinators, to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Graduate preferable commerce background. A degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field may be preferred.

Experience: Previous experience in dispatch operations or logistics coordination is often required.

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills are essential for effectively managing dispatch schedules, coordinating resources, and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are necessary for interacting with internal teams, external partners, and customers to convey information clearly and address concerns effectively.

Problem-Solving Abilities: The ability to quickly identify and resolve issues that arise during the dispatch process is crucial for maintaining efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Attention to Detail: Attention to detail is important for ensuring accurate documentation, monitoring shipment status, and identifying any discrepancies or errors.

Adaptability: Dispatch operations can be dynamic, so the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks accordingly is essential.

Leadership Skills: Strong leadership qualities are beneficial for supervising dispatch teams, providing guidance and support, and fostering a positive work environment.

**Salary**: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
